VJT & Partners was founded by János Tamás in 2010. It’s been 10 years since then, but during this time something has not changed: everybody that comes around the office can feel that specific atmosphere his personality creates. Our firm is not an ordinary place to work at, all the more a living space.

János Tamás has more than 20 years of experience, All leading international specialized publications classify him as a leading hungarian lawyer in the areas of acquisition, private equity, employment law, and information technology.

András Lovretity joined VJT & Partners in 2015. He is the head of the M&A team. It would be difficult to imagine the vitality of the firm, without his dominant character and continuous humor.
András has more than 15 years of experience in international M&A, restructuring and private equity transactions, as well as participation in a wide variety of project-related proceedings in all stages of such projects from due diligence to drafting and negotiating the terms of the transaction and legal assistance in closing the deal. The M&A projects on which András has worked, include both domestic and cross-border acquisitions, as well as privatizations.
In addition to András’ M&A transactional and projects experience, gained during his years with an international law firm and subsequent affiliations, he has become an expert in the legal aspects of the aviation industry through eight plus years of advising Budapest Airport on various projects and business matters.
András graduated from the Law School of Eötvös Loránd University, Győr in 2001 and has been a member of the Budapest Bar since 2005.
He speaks fluent English.

Endre has been with the firm since 2010, and, as a lawyer, since 2016, and a partner since 2020. He carries the firm’s values, with enthusiasm and dedication - a truly fresh power. Over the years, Endre has become a leading data protection expert at the firm, and twice with him being the driving force behind our firm insuring the title of “Data protection team of the year”.
He gained international experience in data protection, outsourcing and other information technology matters. His experience includes drafting contracts for Fortune 1000 IT companies, as well as advising on the regulatory aspects of global cloud computing.
Endre earned his Serbian law diploma from the University of Novi Sad, and his Hungarian law diploma from the Law School of Pázmány Péter University. Moreover, he received an LLM from Central European University.
He is fluent in English, Serbian and Croatian.

Andrea joined us in 2018 as head of the competition team, and from 2020 she strengthens the firm as a partner. Her cheer is all around at the office, she is inspiring and everyone loves working with her. How could we live without her?
Andrea’s entire professional life has been seen through competition law, she is therefore aware of everything connected to it. Having had worked as one of the heads of the Hungarian Competition Authority for nearly ten years, she knows the field inside out. The following decade she gained expertise in the same legal field as a legal adviser and attorney, this time experiencing the market players’ side of the battle.
In addition to competition law, she specialises in data protection and has twice received the "Data protection team of the year" award as a member of the winning team. Further more, Andrea is an expert in other regulatory areas, an excellent project manager, and has a great understanding and control over the processes.
Andrea graduated from the Law School of József Attila University, Szeged in 1999. She also received a Master's degree (LL.M) in the field of international and European business law from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest in 2014.
She is fluent in English.

Zoltán has been at VJT & Partners since the beginning, he is one of the pillars of the firm. He is a real lawyer, stern and committed, who protects the interests of clients as a bodyguard.
His enthusiasm for employment law and his extensive experience in this area have made him an internationally acknowledged expert in this area of law. Zoltán is a member of the governing body of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), which unites the European Union labour law authorities.
His extensive employment law experience includes everything that may be related to employment law. His list of skills could cover several pages, and we do not want to test anyone’s patience. Suffice it to say, that Zoltán is an accomplished expert in employment law.
Besides employment law, he has over 15 years of experience in the field of corporate law and dispute resolution.
Zoltán graduated from the Law School of Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest in 2000 and received an LLM from Central European University, Budapest in 2001.

Eszter joined our office before her graduation at the end of 2015, her enthusiasm has been unbroken ever since. With us, she has mastered the professional and human values that have made her a really good, dedicated and conscientious lawyer.
One of Eszter's most important skills is cooperation, which is also a cornerstone of our office. Everyone in the office is happy to work with her because she does the work entrusted to her responsibly, persistently seeking solutions, and always striving for perfection. Eszter graduated from the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest in 2016. She is fluent in English.

Hoa spent part of her years as an associate at our firm, and after a short detour, she joined us again as a counsel and brought along the delicate and kind atmosphere that has always surrounded her.
In her work, she is responsible and purposeful. She likes to delve into matters and explore them to the smallest detail. She is a collaborative, open and helpful colleague.
In addition to M&A, Hoa has also dealt with general commercial contracts and provided advice in the pharmaceutical sector. She worked as a volunteer in the field of children’s rights.

Nándor joined our team shortly before completing the bar exam and becoming a counsel.
He is a calm, balanced and helpful colleague who is committed to professional development.
As an associate, Nándor worked at international law firms and was involved in several acquisitions, corporate restructurings and investments. He is also familiar with commercial and employment law.
He likes nature, its harmony, and the depth of its silence. He spends his free time mainly fishing.
Nándor graduated from the Faculty of Law of Pázmány Péter University in Budapest in 2017, after which he received an LLM in Employment Law from the University of Pécs.
He is fluent in English.

Attila is a truly versatile lawyer: as legislative adviser he creates law, as professor he teaches law and as attorney he applies law. Thanks to his wide-ranging knowledge he has a deep understanding of the relations existing among the economy, the society and the complex phenomenon what we call law.
With him joining us we are enriched with a colleague with broad experience and fresh approach. With his excellent ideas he contributes to a wide spectrum of economy related law-making and he is also up to date with the latest international legislation trends.
He further strengthens our technology and digitalisation team and also has key roles in our private client and dispute resolution teams.
Besides all these, his true passion is mentoring our young lawyers.
Attila graduated from the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University where he later served as dean and head of the civil law department, and he is now teaching civil law.
He is fluent in English and German.
